Our School is a family.
We educate, encourage, and support each child to realise his or her potential within a caring Christian setting.
We inspire creativity, independence and respect in a positive environment, nurturing responsible members of the community.
All that we do is informed by our Christian values: Currently these values are being developed under discussion with our Head of School, children and staff. They will be based around our traditional values of:
Wisdom, Thankfulness, Humility, Endurance, Service (To serve each other) Compassion, Trust, Peace, Forgiveness, Friendship, Justice, Hope, Partnership (Koinonia), Awe and Respect (Reverence).
The vision is summarised in our school motto: To Know, To Love, To Share
Our Pebbled Cross
This is the All Saints and St Richard’s unique pebbled cross.
Each pebble has been chosen by a child in our school. The pebbles reflect our family values and signify the importance that we put on each child being an individual within a small, supportive and empowering learning environment.
The cross also reflects our strong Christian values and ethos which we promote in all areas of our school. This powerful imagery shows the emphasis that we put on encouraging children to build and develop their sense of belonging, from the moment they start in Early Years to the day they leave in Year 6.
