Welcome to All Saints and St Richard’s Church of England Primary School. We are a small school based in the rural village of Old Heathfield.
The Victorian listed frontage of the building screens the modern, spacious classrooms that sit behind this; a lovely mix of old and new.
As a small school we get to know each child as an individual therefore strengths are built upon and weaknesses supported. We make the most of our beautiful setting with weekly outdoor learning and Forest School sessions.
At ASSR we believe that children thrive in an environment in which they are happy, challenged and secure. We aim to provide the best primary education in a stimulating and creative environment, so that every child realises his or her potential.

“Enormously positive changes since September 2016.”
“The school treats every child as unique and strives to instil a love of learning in all its pupils. The school creates an environment where the children feel happy, secure and valued. The children are motivated to achieve and encouraged to use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves.”
